It’s Friday! So what? Go out there and work as though it was Tuesday. It will still be Friday when you are done and you could take two days off. Remember, no cruising because it’s Friday.
Imagine you were given a few days to live. How would that prognosis change your life? You would probably start to ‘really’ live your life, if you are still physically capable. Doing the things you held back on, going places, speaking your mind, etc.
Now imagine that you found out through the grapevine that your job, the one you really loved, your dream job, was on the line. What would you do, other than the obvious which is go job hunting? If you really loved the job, you would start working that much harder, making sure you put in a hard, earnest and honest effort. You would impress the boss to the point where he couldn’t afford losing an employee like you.
Now imagine living like your job and your life were on the line. Stop. Go out there and LIVE LIKE IT! Thank me later.
I love people watching. I especially like to take in the sight of eye candies. You know that beautiful damsel in your vision? But do you know what’s better than even watching beautiful women? Watching other men watching beautiful women. The way they peer and Leer like a hungry dog seeing food heading his way. I hope I don’t look like that to other people watching people watching people.
So you know how it says that at Judgement day God will be reading back the things we did, both good and bad? Well I was wondering, would he be doing it alphabetically? My last name starts with the letter ‘W’ so for me it would be a long wait. A very long wait. Just wondering…
You know what really sucks? You are on hold for an extended period of time so you decide to stuff your mouth with whatever you were eating. While it’s stuffed, you hear “Hello, can I help you? Hello?” Then ‘click’.
Sometimes you might try to mumble so they know you are there but that just makes it worse As now you sound like a perv. with your grunting. Click!
Have you ever been stuck at a red light so long that you tell yourself, “When it turns green I’m going through no matter what”? Then when the light turns green you mentally urged the dozen or so cars ahead of you to hurry through before it changes. You watch as it turns to yellow while you are still a car or two away from the intersection. By the time you get to the ‘Stop here’ line, it’s about to turn to red but you have vowed not to stay another turn at the darn light so you speed through the red, tensing in expectancy for that side swipe from oncoming traffic. Ever been there? Me too. All the time!
Have you noticed that when there’s a slow driver ahead of you while you are in a hurry to get where you are going, they always seem to be going exactly where you are? Turning at the same turns as you, even going down the same back lanes. Or is it just me? How about the opposite? You are the one driving at a snail’s pace trying to find the address of your destination and wishing that the car behind would just go around so you don’t feel so rushed. But no, they don’t, instead following you down every street and around every corner. Worse yet is when they actually pull up at the same house!
